Your one-to-one consultation will include:

To be classed as medically overweight or obese your BMI (Body Mass Index) must be between 27-30 and above. (BMI of 27 – 30 must have weight related conditions (co-morbid factors). Your BMI will be determined during your consultation with one of our Doctors or Nurse Prescribers.

They should always be prescribed in a clinical environment, by a UK registered Doctor or Nurse Prescriber to ensure their safety and effectiveness. It is best practice to inform your own GP before starting a prescribed weight loss program, especially if you have pre-existing medical conditions or take regular medications. Your GP’s input can provide additional reassurance and support for your weight loss journey. At Your Slimming Clinic we will provide you with a letter to give to your GP at your convenience.
Exercise is important during your weight loss journey and increasing your physical activity will further enhance your weight loss. Any form of exercise will help burn calories and improve overall health, however, the intensity and type of exercise should match your fitness level and treatment plan.
